Christmas is a globally celebrated event that rejoices the birth of Jesus Christ. Though other religions don’t worship the same god, each of them celebrate Christmas in their own ways applying cultures and traditions. But for us wine lovers, Christmas would be incomplete without that sparkling bottle of red or white wine on our table that goes well with our own holiday recipes.

To celebrate the unity of the world in this spirit, I have taken the responsibility to share with you a list of wines that the different countries of the world love to partake during this time of the year.
  • France. How amazing would it be to be drinking a splendid glass of French wine at a five star restaurant with the Eiffel Tower at view? Oui. Too bad we’re over here while Paris is on the other side of the world. Fate, why doth have to be so cruel? But not to worry, we can still get a glimpse of that exotic feeling of being in France by drinking some of their amazing wines. France is one of the top wine producers in the world along with Italy. It would be no surprise if they had some of the best wines in the world. French wines are for those people who would like to celebrate a sweet Christmas.

Not only do they make the finest pastas, but they also brew the finest wines around. One of the top wine producers in the world and only second to France, Italy is home to some of the best wines in the world. If you’re craving for some splendid Italian Christmas then these wines are for you:

It’s no doubt that when a country has a large production of wine, delicious wines are bound to be found.

  • Argentina. One of the major contender for football in the world. But Argentina is not only known for football. Argentina is also known for its wine and in fact is placed fifth for being one of the top wine producing countries in the world. Though most Argentine wines have its roots from Spanish wines, they managed to make their own version of the recipe.
